Description
In this painting, the human subject in the foreground is purposely show to be immersed, engrossed and utterly lost in nature. Yet again, an iconoclastic, radical representation of nature has been attempted and the orange doves, the feisty orange trees, the black and yellow checkered water bodies bear testimony to that. The intention here is to show the human subject renouncing all her desires and debauchery, and renouncing her own self to become one with nature. The lighthouse in the far background serves as a foil to the otherwise natural elements in the painting.
