The Laughing Dinosaur and More is a work of acrylic on canvas. Colors like Yellow, blue and red predominate this painting. The elements used here, like the four windows, animal (the dinosaur), the lovers, cacti that lineup at the bottom of the painting and the lighthouse is derived from my previous paintings. Like my previous acrylic works here too, the background isn’t solid. The painting creates a world where the ancient and contemporary coexist. The astronaut, the boy with a joystick in his hands, the fighters with guns, the LOL in the bubble all form a part of the contemporary world whereas, the laughing dinosaur is a representative of the ancient times. Again there are elements that can’t be categorized into ancient or contemporary, the lovers and cacti fall under this category. All the elements when put together create a sense harmony within the painting.
