Ram and Sita meeting in Pushp Vatika (Garden of Flowers): When Lord Ram and Lakshman reached Janakpuri along with Sage Vishwamitra for Sita’s Swayamvar, they had a day to spend there. The next day early morning, Lord Rama and Lakshman were taking a stroll in a very beautiful garden, full of flowers inside the palace of King Janak. Sita was going to the temple to pray to Girija Devi (Goddess Parvati, wife of God Shiva) when she passed through this garden with her friends. Their eyes met there for the first time and Sita was charmed by Lord Ram.
