Bharata was away from Ayodhya when Rama went into exile. When he learned of the exile, he swore never to ascend the throne. He further blamed his mother Kaikeyi for his father’s death. Bharata said he will never address his mother as mother again. He also cursed her saying that no father shall hereafter name his daughter Kaikeyi. Madhubani Artist through their beautiful art representation are portraying Ramayana scene where Bharata is showing his disappointment to his mother and mother’s nurse Manthara.
