This is the third of a series on the artist’s garden, executed with acrylic colours on canvas in an expressionist style. Rather than a realistic, portrayal, expressionism gives the freedom to capture essence of the beauty of the flora & fauna & recreate the joyous mood of the onlooker on viewing such natural beauty. The garden was her retreat during the lockdown period , seeing more birds, butterflies and bees than usual, as human activity took a back space in these unprecedented times. The green parrots sitting and in mid air, in this canvas try to recreate the sweet cacophony of the birds makes her garden come alive!
