Description

My paintings are mostly based on certain means of transport like cars, trams taxis and autos represented repetitively in the canvas some in its original forms , some in terms of outlines multiple use of the same figure is done consciously to depict the ongoing trend of convergence in the society owing to the increasing flow of information in the globalize environment. Usage of transport in my paintings is a representation of the present human satire, as a metaphor to highlight the shrinking lifespan of humanity , status and even relationship in today’s world. Now a days it takes almost no time for a product that once appeared to be the market leader to be treated as vintage. Same type of futility is also being observed in the context of social status and relationships. This sense of non-permanency is complemented by use of line of architectural aspect in the background of my paintings which, to me, act as an important link between the past and the present situatio0n of our society. But our desire makes our popularity by social networking system, which makes us so centralized and proud The space divisions in the composition are done in congruity with the central theme of my paintings -a protest against the growing monotonicity in tastes preferences and life style across regions. Repetitive representation is my weapon of satire aimed at making people concerned about the decline of regional variations .To me it is the region specific characteristics that provides the people residing in the area a sound base. Removing such asymmetries across region world make the people residing in the periphery uprooted.
