About Artist

I am an artist and a sensitive part of this social circus we are living in. I am not only concerned what happening inside my adobe walls but also about the outside drama taking place in my presence and absence as well. Each day hundreds of unwanted and never readable bills posters and promises grew on every possible clean wall like some terrible fungus infecting a healthy man. Each day every lonely roadside walls got humiliated with showers of unwanted piss and spits. Each day I see all this and feel certain unfold suffocation inside me and in response to this social disease I speak through my paintings and sculptures, giving the spotlight to the culprit. I use my art as a tool for social commentary. Art has often served as social commentary. Images related to social commentary attempt to convince us toward particular viewpoints or actions promoted by public or private institutions such as political parties, governments or religious groups. The same thing or work, I am doing through my works as the visual images has been frequently been used to convince masses of people to accept beliefs, take action or follow leaders. I thought my works mainly discuss (or show) the issues related with the public places, specially the “public walls” and how these walls are treated by the public. Actually my body of work is the mirror of society’s unwanted face. A face with which we never want to be face to face. My work brings the offender in front of a viewer and also questions about the slow and gradual acceptance of the culprit, who is terrorizing the environment every passing second. My pictorial representation is not easy to digest at once, very much like the truth and in times of subjective gimmickry and false juxtaposition of senseless, I will continue to paint the truth.
