About Artist
"Modelling in clay is to the sculptor, what attracting on paper is to the painter. In the delicate clay, the genius of the sculptor is found in its most extreme virtue and truth."
I believe in modeling the clay without any idea and just random thoughts and feelings. This way, I always achieve what I really want. Be it National or International, my work has only shown me the stairs to the peak and made me recognizable wherever I show my talent.
Terracotta (Baked Earth) is the oldest and ancient medium for art, and I have chosen it to promote it with modern ideas. I want each part of the world to know about my artwork. With self-developed style, which is rare in India, it takes me three to four months to make one sculpture, which speaks life, emotions, and feelings.
My artwork has got appreciation at both National and International level. I have attended two International Sculptor Symposium in stone carving at ITM, Gwalior. I have showcased my art at several places including Bharat Bhavan Bhopal, Chitrakala Parisath Bangalore, Darbar Art Gallery Kochi, The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel Mumbai, All India Fine Art and Craft Society, and Lalit Kala Akademi New Delhi. My artwork is also in the collection of Bharat Bhavan among top women artists. Currently I am settled in Bangalore with my family and continuing my artwork.
