It is a symbolic representation of the human predicament. Here two bird lings that have just hatched out of their shells into a brave new world are ignorant of the vile nature of the world which they are born into. There is a snake - “uragam” which represents all the cruelty in the world, and is thinking of snatching the birdlings at any moment. In the background there is the moon carrying the rabbit on its breast but it cannot save the birdlings from their awful catastrophe. The painting is pregnant with suggestive power and stands apart from the rest because of its inherent symbolism.
