I am Diptadeep Addy, a festival and street photographer from Kolkata, India. Apart from photography I am working as a Cyber-security professional in an MNC. It was in 2012 when I got my first introduction to a digital camera, a Nikon D3200, never I knew at that time I would fall in love with a camera so much. I always have been intrigued and curious with human emotions and celebrations and always wanted to explore such things and what could have been better than a digital camera to capture such valuable moments. It was a long journey and with absolutely no technical knowledge in photography I ventured out in the unknown world. It took some time in initial years but my passion and hunger to click priceless moments gave me the kick needed to go on more. My photos have been published in various international and national exhibitions like Bangladesh and many places in India. Internationally acclaimed photo Magazine N-Photo (Nikon’s official magazine) had published a cover story in 2018’s March Issue on my Holi pictures which was a big break for me.
Currently I am working on few documentary projects based on social and cultural issues in India.
