About Artist

I am a software professional who discovered the beauty of acrylics and my natural affinity towards them through some fun paint night sessions on my deputation in the States. Besides acrylics , I would consider soft pastels as my second best media. I have started art as pockets of self therapy on weekends and both the media above have the characteristics of ensuring meditative processes while painting. I started enjoying them even more and discovered I am being inspired to paint the more I enjoy all the best artworks out there. I like to categorize my paintings as "experiencing the mood" , based on the mood I like them to evoke in the viewers, or what I felt when being inspired ex: meditative, focus, serene, mystical, pleasant midnights etc. I at times wish there was a way for an artist to give prompts to the viewers to imagine to connect more with the art, but also torn that it could restrict imagination.

Description

This is my original artwork to invoke the following mood-Imagine, Gliding gently above the sea, into the mystical midnight blue sky, brilliantly lit by a cheesy moon, tufts and wisps of glowing clouds. The air is chill with the cool sea breeze spraying across, you fly higher glancing around, far away you see a glow...a swirl of twisty toasty smoke, glowing warmth radiating from a tiny stone cottage cozily nested on yonder cliff, you land next to it, can hear a crackling fireplace from the window, and the dreamy waft of a delicious hot dinner, what would you like to see on the table?
