Born in 1984, Vani completed her BFA in Painting from the College of Fine Arts in Thiruvananthapuram in 2006 and then went on to receive her MFA in the same discipline from S. N. School of Fine Arts, Central University of Hyderabad, in 2010. She has been part of many exhibitions and art camps held across the country, including Leap Year, a group show curated by Latha Kurian Rajeev who runs La Gallery 360 in Thiruvananthapuram, and Herstory, a group show by five women artists held at Durbar Hall Art Centre in Kochi.
