Description

Sita lifting the mighty bow: One day Sita out of sheer curiosity was examining the divine bow of God Shiva which was given to her father (King Janaka) by Parshuram in order to worship it. It was a moment of extreme astonishment and pleasure for both the parents to see their daughter lift that bow with so much ease when it was so difficult to even move it. That day King Janaka made a resolution that only that person who could lift the mighty bow would be an ideal match for Sita.
