About Artist

Education: B.A.,ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE, 2011, MUMBAI M.A. ARTS AND AESTHETICS ,2014, JAWAHARLAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY,NEW DELHI I love the essence of the silence that perhaps we all have in our subconsciousness but in the presence of the sound of our day to day life we could not hear it properly and in my art I persist to convey that silence through my inner consciousness. Nature (THE BEAUTY OF THE OUTER WORLD) and interpersonal relationship (THE JOY OF THE INNER WORLD) are the eternal part of my creativity. And sometimes they both contradict each other to find a new meaning in my art and life, because the outer world is merely an impression of the inner world and the inner world is also an expression of the outer world. And as being a painter I persist to convey my inner feelings through the outer landscapes.

Description

A beautiful dawn in which the sun hasn't yet risen well, and the sky all clear scattered with a few clouds. Birds filling the air with their sweet chirping. All the pigeons of the city, through the ruffling of their feathers making one aware of the morn and I standing alone in my balcony, feeling all this. What name do I give this dawn? I would wish for every morning of my life to be just like this one. However, it might not be possible. Every morning is the last morning of my life. This morning might not come again and it belongs wholly to me and I would like to internalize it as such. I am unable to feel the trepidation of this moment. I too, like the wide empty canvas of the sky, cannot register any thoughts inside me. In this second, I am just a silent paused moment, which would dissipate in just a few more moments and I just wish to live this temporality. But perhaps this morning might forever live in my thoughts. Something like John Keats has said 'A thing of beauty is a joy forever'. This painting depicts the tranquillity and simplicity of a silent morning which gravitates us to spirituality and calmness, and leaves man in the cosmos of nature for a few moments, where humanity seeks itself anew and man finds himself a bit closer to inner peace.
