About Artist

Education: B.A.,ST. XAVIER'S COLLEGE, 2011, MUMBAI M.A. ARTS AND AESTHETICS ,2014, JAWAHARLAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY,NEW DELHI I love the essence of the silence that perhaps we all have in our subconsciousness but in the presence of the sound of our day to day life we could not hear it properly and in my art I persist to convey that silence through my inner consciousness. Nature (THE BEAUTY OF THE OUTER WORLD) and interpersonal relationship (THE JOY OF THE INNER WORLD) are the eternal part of my creativity. And sometimes they both contradict each other to find a new meaning in my art and life, because the outer world is merely an impression of the inner world and the inner world is also an expression of the outer world. And as being a painter I persist to convey my inner feelings through the outer landscapes. Honestly, I give credit to my father, mother and professors for keeping me away from the evilness of the human existence so I could emphasis upon my artistic aspirations rather looking into the materiality.

This painting is an attempt to depict the tranquillity that permeates the ambience just before the moment of a sunrise and through this silence and tranquillity there is a desire to attain spirituality. 'Wishing to your soul' is meant in a metaphoric manner. Spirituality which is a symbol for simplicity and succour is depicted in a minimal form. With the morning rays of the sun sprinkling through the open window, mixing innocently with the breeze and falling on my beloved’s bed and on her sleep leaden eyes, I realize how beautiful life is, and I want to believe and be able to live in this beauty, and capturing this aspect, I try to begin the new day. Are we able to express what we feel, just the same way as we are able to experience it? this painting seeks to bridge the gap between feeling and being able to comprehend that feeling. This painting has been rendered in blue and mild green colours. If blue takes us to a wide-open sky, the mild green is an attempt to link the sky to nature. The influences of morning raga of Indian classical music's Raag Bhairavi and the soul and meditative thoughts of Indian philosophy can be seen. The main intent of this painting is to forge the connection of spiritual love to nature.
