Born in 1990, Monisha Mohan Raj has a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Stella Maris College, Chennai, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Painting at the M. S. University in Baroda. Having won the D. J. Joshi Merit Award in 2010 and the Dr. V. S. Wakanker Gold Medal from Kalavart Nyas in 2011, Monisha is also the participant of many artist camps and group shows including the opening show of Gallery Veda in Chennai, exhibiting alongside the likes of Chandra Bhattachrjee, Parvathi Nair and Arpana Caur
