Born and raised up in coimbatore, Meenakshi is a self taught artist and an online art instructor, with around 1500+ students worldwide. She is an engineering graduate. Instead she chose her passion as her career. Her paintings are inspired by nature and all its varied aspects. She is fascinated by the interplay of colour, shape and form of the natural world. She believes that creating art simulates our inherent natural wonder, curiosity and imagination. Her paintings are unique for their embossed textures she gives them using knife and occasionally using her fingers. She primarily use acrylics on canvas to give her paintings a strong physical presence and a good textural effect.
