A commerce and fine-arts graduate, an award winning photography professional who is also a diploma holder in 2D animation, Mr. Krishnendu Halder, the photographer of one of the renowned international news agency, Reuters, has also had stints with the Metro India ,Indian Today group , Times of India, Deccan Chronicle and The New Indian Express. He is not only one of the most well known news photographers in Hyderabad, Krishnendu, is also known for his paintings. For him, art is something that appeals to one’s senses and emotions, and not to someone’s intellect and instincts. He thinks that it’s not important how an artist creates his work. It can be created with any tool and any medium, but it should speak for itself and needs no explanation and elaboration. One of the most well known news photographers in Hyderabad, Krishnendu, is also known for his creativity in shooting high fashion, portfolios, features, children, industry and news. The magic of his lens is being admired by some of the international news organisation like Washington Post, Guardian, National Geography, Time Magazine and many such national newspapers. During 15 years of experience, Halder specialised in utilising natural light, shadows, camera angles and texture in every shot to achieve high level quality and creativity in any circumstances. As one examines his work, it becomes apparent that it is not merely the camera that's capturing the intense emotions and longing around him, rather, Halder's photography shows very clearly the he uses the camera as an extension of his own empathy.
