About Artist
Born in 1979 in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, Jaiprakash has been extensively working and experimenting with new ideas in the field of art as an abstract artist for the last 14 years. After travelling to historical places in India, he tried to include the diversity of Indian culture and the legacies of prominent Indian people in his artworks. Most of his works are developed as a result of experimentation with different shapes and forms.
Jaiprakash says, "I always tried to inculcate in my work, the surroundings of my country so that it could reflect different sides of its culture in the abstract form. Though my works are untitled it still has a strong relativity to one another every time I make a new series. I like to include some remembrance of my human emotion or some historical places I have visited in my art forms. I mostly use vibrant and earthy colours and apply it in a rhythmic flow, and play with light shade and texture."
He has worked in many mediums like oil, watercolour, acrylic, iron, metal, wood, scraps and others mixed media.
