About Artist

I am Izhar Alam and I am a pop artist trying to our come across the daily eccentricities of the world around us. ​ It was the period prior to my formal education in the fine art that I developed a habit to observe, specifically the observation of human nature. I was definitely inclined to think that every individual in the word bears a multi image character or multi-characteristic image. People often experience duels between such clashing opinions, views and thoughts within themselves. Artwork itself is an individual and peculiar concept that performs through materialism along with various dimensions and colours. In my artwork I portray distinguished figures within a single body that explicates distinguish characters’ of an individual. According to representation it has a theatrical element. I try to portray the fingers performing on particular concept while relating to the space. This composition expresses my understanding with the theatrical elements. My artwork is largely around social topics told from an individual perspective. My figures perform dialogues in response to the social happenings that affect particularly the common, lower-middle class man. Representation wise, I accept the influence of mythology in my artworks. In the myths of many civilizations we found kindred figures like many faces on single body and derivation of figures out of one figure. This element enticed me a lot and because I have a keen interest in my theologies and history of oldest civilizations and their arts, so I put these elements in my artwork. I use this element to create Omni -expression through gestures of faces, animal figures and objects that and known sometimes as esoteric objects. Sometimes I portray ritualistic aspects also, but in a representational sense or respective to an art work only rather than explicating a comment or eroticism on these kinds of events. Whether having many subjects according to the recent scenario or recent evolution through my artwork because this is my real expression of presenting the objects.
