About Artist

Born in Delhi, India, Gunjan Saxena did MFA in 1993 from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, UP. She has showcased her works regularly by participating in various national & international events. She held four solo shows to state here- 1994,1997 and 2000 : Triveni Art Gallery, New Delhi ; 2014: Indian Council for Cultural Relations Art Gallery, Azad Bhawan, New Delhi She has also been a part of fifteen group shows, some prominent ones are- 1992- ABC Art Gallery Varanasi; 1994- Group Show of prints by Korean Graphic Art Society; 1996- Maurya Sheraton & Taj Palace New Delhi ;1999- Group Show by Art People at Lalit Kala Galleries New Delhi ; 2011-Group Show “THE CONFLUENCE” at Rabindra Bhawan,New Delhi and 2013-An Exhibition`Colours of Hope’ by Empowerment Group New Delhi. To add importance to her artist profile are her numerous participations, like the 3rd Bharat Bhawan International Biennial of Prints in 1995 ; 38th National Exhibition by Lalit Kala Academy New Delhi in 1995; 65th $ 66th Annual all India Exhibition by All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society New Delhi in 1995; -“Prints Today” all India Graphics Exhibition by Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy in 1993; Kala Mela Organised by Birla Academy Calcutta in 1993; Annual Show by all India working Artist Group Varanasi in 1992; 4th &7th Yuva Mahotasava by Sahitya Kala Parishad New Delhi in 1991-92 ; Miniature Format “MASK” Exhibition at Rabindra Bhawan New Delhi in 2012; Exhibition on 100 Years of “NEW DELHI” by All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society New Delhi in 2012; 2013-Akhil Bhartiya Kala Pradarshni by Lalit Kala Sangeet Vikas Parishad,Delhi ;2014-87th Annual all India Art Exhibition by AIFACS New Delhi and 2014-NDMC All India Art Exhibition New Delhi.
