Aparna started her creative visual arts. Over 40 solo and group exhibitions later, her work has been selected for shows – from Austria and Iran to Dubai and Basel. ‘Energy and hope is what I believe in,’ she says. ‘Nature is where I find it – energy, vibrancy, boldness, depth and shadow is what I see… and in abundance. All these are emotions to me. The textured surfaces, as life is, beauty in every nook, be it in the laughter of or in the dark.’ ‘Every stroke or mark created is like a new discovery, to an unknown land of pleasure,’ says Aparna, in a typically exuberant tone. She lives and works in Haryana.
