Freddie Thomas is a pop artist from the UK. She has studied at the University of the Arts London, Slade School of Fine Art and Lasalle College of the Arts and is just about to embark on a Master’s of Fine Art at the prestigious University of Edinburgh. Freddie is fascinated by popular culture and the impact that it has on the world within which we live. She believes that pretty much anything and everything is part of popular culture, ranging from sport to religion. This allows for endless possibilities in her work. Her work nearly always evolves into a social narrative focusing predominantly on the needs of the individual in this fast-paced ever-changing, busy, modern world. She has exhibited in London, Paris, Istanbul, Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong and New York.
