A stylized composition painted in abstract form with generous use of cubism. This painting depicts one of the most heroic and galant feats from the Ancient Indian Epic Mahabharata, Arjuna’s Matsya Bhed (piercing the eye of a revolving fish on top by just looking at its reflection in a pool below). The red panels show the warrior prince Arjuna’s legendary immense focus and concentration. And the blooming flower is a sign of the things to come as this event triggers a chain of events which culminate in the epic war of Kurukshetra.
