Having grown up in Rourkela in Orissa, most of his paintings take him back to his roots. They have a raw and rural edge to it, be it the blood-red buildings with tiny blue people casting a reflection all around or the ray of street light and green trees that stand defying the smudgy navy blue overcast sky.
