Ratan Parimoo is a modern Indian painter, born in 1936 in the picturesque city of Srinagar, Kashmir.  In 1951, at theage of 15 he came to Baroda to gratify his immense passion for fine arts and urging curiosity to explore India and Indian art. Under the guidance of the great Indian painter N.S.Bendre, he completed his bachelor and masters in fine arts from the Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda.
