Niren Sengupta was born in January 1940 in Bengal. He was the former Principal of College of Art, New Delhi. He has taught for over 30 years at graduate & post-graduate levels in various art institutions. He is a graduate in science from the Calcutta University and also a graduate in Arts from Govt.
