Japani Shyam is an Indian artist born in 1968. Her father is no other than Singh Shyam, from the Gond tribe. An Indian painter, she is famous for having created a new school of art in India, The Jangarh Kalam School, referring to the artist's pictorial style which focuses on the representation of deities and animal portraits.
