About Artist

Dayanand Kamakar is one of our recent artists who have shown considerable promise. In his recent works one can see a depiction of our society. Though the themes of his works are from amidst us they have been brought out very differently in the medium of art. The composition and use of colour is attractive and present a style of their own. Lines do add to the meaning. Many of the paintings have drawn source and inspiration from folk themes and motifs.
