Chinmaya Panda was born in Bhubaneswar, Odisha in 1989. He is a self-taught artist who has gained international recognition for his watercolours. Though trained as a chemical engineer, his born urge made him take up painting with zest once again. Although he is most noted for his portraiture and figurative works, he enjoys the freedom to paint different subject matter including landscapes and still life paintings.
