Born in 1959, Chandan Roy is a sculptor who mainly works in bronze. He has a lot of experience in the construction of giant structures. Mr Roy is a self-taught sculptor of Bengal. He had worked under the guidance of well-known sculptor, Tapas Sarkar. Now he is one of the members of ‘Calcutta Sculptors’. His abstract figurative forms show simplicity and naivety.
