Born in 1962 in Durgapur, Asit Sarkar graduated and trained in Kolkata from the Government College of Arts and Crafts in 1988. Asit has had many group and solo shows and been vastly appreciated for his aesthetic, soft, sensuous, treatment of women, Radhas & Krishnas.
