Arya Chandra Chowdhury was born in Kolkata. He did his Post Graduation from Government College of Arts and Craft. He has to his credit two solo shows and has participated in more than 30 group shows in Poland, Kolkata, Delhi, and Bangalore. He has been recipient of Golden Brush Award in 2006 and 2007.
