Born in 1975 in Latur and has done Govt Diploma in Drawing and painting from Pune in 1997. Amritraj Koban draws inspiration from Budhism & the murals of Ajanta. For Amritraj Budhism goes beyond religion & is more a philosophy or "way of life". He illustrates the Buddha in the posture of meditation in soft muted colours symbolizing peace & tranquility.
