About Artist

Amitabh SenGupta is a well-known senior painter born and based in Kolkata. SenGupta has received All India Award from Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata and All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society, New Delhi. He is the founder President of Art Trust in Kolkata. Between 1966 and 1969, he received the French Govt. Scholarship to study painting/printmaking at Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Paris.
