This artwork, titled, “ Hope Blooms,” was painted in the thick of the second covid wave in India, when the general air around was one of despair. Inspired partly by a friend’s elegant living room decor and partly by the hollyhocks in her own garden, the artist has tried to capture the freshness and cheer of the flowers & the space to send across a message of Hope & resilience.
