This eye-grabbing yet elegant serving tray has a meticulously hand-painted Madhubani fish signifying good luck and health. The paper is sandwiched between two glasses and sealed for water proofing. The tray uses a White Oak frame with Stainless Steel handles.
About the Art
Madhubani is a heritage art from Madhubani, Bihar that originated as wall paintings/decorations. Initially, it was used to decorate walls during marriage or other functions. It is only during the famine of late 1960s that the art-form was commercially available on paper.
