‘Bliss’ curated by Sunaina Magan is a simple collection of art that speaks of the natural tendency of the human nature connect during such a difficult time. The various shades of love and connection are highlighted well throughout, with works that extoll the artistic and technical expertise of five different artists. ‘When artificial intelligence replaced God’s intelligence, human’s started seeing things from a distance ignoring land beneath them and celebrating relationships around them. Bliss - brings together 5 artist from absolute different backgrounds but same vision. Their art represents God’s most beautiful gesture called LOVE. Love is not a feeling. It’s an action. It is a consistent behavior towards others’ mentioned Sunaina in her curatorial note.
Below, we have selected five artworks from the artists and created some lovely moodboards for your convenience. What better than to have a nice, organized palette while organizing your space/interiors? Do use the moodboards and palettes to inspire your buys and your idea of art, only on Mojarto!
Starting off with a strong, classy, monochrome moodboard; Asha Gulati’s ‘Just for You’ is a beautiful addition to any space. The work is effervescent and weighted by the palette, making it an easy addition to your walls. The best part? All colours go, it is an excellent and easy buy and is completely reasonable as well.
Getting those blues out! Grace by Gurmeet Goldie is a lovely expression of cools and warms, focusing mostly on the shades of blue. The easy transition between the two extremes of the colour scale make the work a great addition to the home, and even an excellent corner space activator! The palette has a great range of warm blues to neutral blues, and a few cool orangish tones, what more could you ask for?
Bringing in some colour can be a bit tough, but with Vimal Chand’s ‘Hallucination of Beauty’ this dreamy piece can navigate a vibrant palette very well. The trees sway with ochres, deep emerald greens and even sea blues, with hints of branches and under growth here and there. Check this palette for a subdued but bold approach to your space!
Taking it up a notch and introducing some sunshine and a classic ‘flame of the forest’ like tree, the brilliant palette of Sabia Khan is for those who absolutely push the boundaries of colour! Taking bright blues, oranges and mango yellows in contrast with olive greens and sandy browns; the palette is thoroughly evocative of the change of seasons and the vibrant power of nature.
Finally coming to the traditional palette of folk art, specifically Gond Art; the palette is gorgeously warm and plays with the earthy tones of the painting quite beautifully. Fitting into any space and incredibly affordable, the work is a great gift and a great buy as well.
