I live in the Himalayan foothills and feel close proximity to the mountains. The snow-covered higher peaks are often perceived as cold, hostile places. I started this painting with the intention of painting the Mt. Everest. However, a couple of days into the process, I developed a connection and felt warmth. It was strange and I wanted to capture the feeling. Hence, here it is, in yellow and gold!
