Born in Radhanpur, Gujarat in 1944, Anant Mehta is a distinguished artist since he has been in the Indian art scene for long time. He held 13 solo and more than 45 group shows to his credit. Some spaces which include the Nazar Art Gallery in Baroda, the Nehru Centre in Mumbai, the Asian Fusion Gallery in New York, and repeat showings at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Ahmedabad. His works are in collection with Lalit Kala Akademy, New Delhi, and Gujarat.
