An alumnus of prestigious College of Art, New Delhi, Neeraj is a uniquely multidimensional spontaneous artist with an exemplary art career spanning more than 30 years, during which he has created his own unique language of art and set numerous innovative trends in sculptures, paintings, designing spaces and teaching and learning of ARTS. With his 'Why Not ' attitude towards life and its offerings and willingness to deploy art as a medium of constructive change and bring out the inner creativity within every life form Neeraj has today reached the milestone where SOS Children's villages of India have proudly made him his brand ambassador. He loves children as much as they love him and that reflects when he is at art workshops with them. Reflections, happiness and spontaneity form the core of his language of art and he loves to explore new materials in his creative pursuits. Design thinking in contemporary world form the core of artworks designed by Neeraj.

Born into the family of two very eminent artists of Haryana, Neeraj has been groomed and trained by art stalwarts like Mr. Amaranth Sehgal with whom he did his internship right after completing BFA in the year 1991 from College of Art, New Delhi. He went on to complete his MFA in 1993 from College of Art, New Delhi and numerous solo and group art shows with prestigious awards followed. Being a constant learner he continued his creative explorations by taking up an ‘Art appreciation course’ from National Museum, New Delhi in the year 2004. His curiosity to experiment with materials made him pursue Certificate in Craft & Design (Pottery) from IGNOU in 2006 and that also made him a trendsetter. Taking his artworks to a new height was his stint as an Art Educator in Japan in the year 2008 having been awarded the JENESYS scholarship by Embassy of Japan. Neerajj has also completed Post Graduate Diploma in Counseling & Spiritual Health as a step towards using ART as a medium healing.

His 30 years of art sojourn are notably ornate with numerous national and international Awards, his works adorning prestigious Government offices like Haryana Tourism Chandigarh, Pullman Hotel, Gurugram, Raddison group of hotels, Noida and Ludhiana, Late. Shri Padam Chand Ji’s bust at Happy School, New Delhi, living and workspaces of eminent art collectors in Delhi / NCR and abroad to name a few. Some of the highly recognized works of Neeraj have been enlisted below:

A creative visionary Neerajj has redefined abstract, brought magnamity to sculptures and interwoven realism with lifestyle. While his realistic works are the inspirations from life itself, his abstracts are projections of his inner thoughts emerging from deep sub conscious. Ever curious, experimenting and envisioning freedom and abundance are reflected in all his works as his sculptures have set the trends of larger than life art. Neerajj is well known in contemporary art circles for his acrylic and mixed media paintings with 'Horses' as his favourite muse.

In his creative pursuits Neerajj has adorned various roles of which being an EDUARTIST & ART MENTOR are the arenas where he has achieved tremendous success and reverence owing to his ‘Why Not’ exploratory attitude and visionary approach to using art as a method of understanding world and creativity as a chalice of human development. In his capacity as an Art Mentor he has designed a unique application based, hand -on creative engagement based curriculum for the students of BFA and MFA courses which exposes them to the challenges of art and its execution and encourages them to explore creative solutions.

As a realization of his dream to create a chalice of experimental and engaging creativity, Neeraj has founded an art gallery Art'est - An art abode, located in Gurugram. His gallery has hosted numerous art shows, art events and workshops by eminent artists. His creative endeavor gallery ART’EST- An Art Abode has also formed an international collaboration for art exchange with ARTISIRE, New Zealand under which both the galleries will conduct art residencies, art exchanges, art walks, etc for the artists in India and New Zealand.

At his gallery Art'est An Art Abode,Neeraj successfully conducted an international art residency program from April 28-May 7, 2019 in collaboration with Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, Embassy of Hungary, New Delhi under which eminent artist Magyar Judith Maria from Hungary came for residential creative art exchange. The creative residential art program fully conceptualized and organised by Neeraj comprised a series of art workshops titled ‘Stone Creatives’ for school children under which more than 97 students from 5 schools, 1 design school of Delhi / NCR and Herman Gmeiner School (SOS Children’s Villages of India), Faridabad learnt the art of creating artworks from stones, leaves, flowers, spices, papers, colours, pastels and things we find commonly around ourselves.
The series of art workshops culminated as an enchanting show of stone artworks titled ‘SPEAKING STONES’ held at gallery ART’EST in which the artworks created by the students were featured along with those of the Alchemists of Artistry.

A passionate artist and caring soul, Neeraj has a dream - of using art and to nurture innate creativity and kindle the passion in little hearts to reach out for stars. He loves children and his artworks symbolize the spontaneity, innocence and piousness of a child. Happiness, spontaneity and love form the core of artworks created by Neeraj and amidst children his creative expressions transform into the masterpieces of art created with strokes of love and colours of Joy.

This passion for ART and love for kids led Neeraj conceptualize and conduct an MANDALA – ART FOR HEALING HEART workshop for 30 children of SOS Children’s villages of India Bawana on June 4, 2019.

Owing to his zest for teaching young minds and reverence for humanity Neeraj, and 15 students of SOS Children’s Villages of India, Greenfields, Faridabad on June 21, 2019 created an artwork titled CANVAS CAROLS – AN ART ODE TO EPITOME OF LOVE to celebrate the 100 th birthday of Herman Gmeiner, Founder, SOS Children’s Villages Foundation on June 23, 2019.
