My creative journey owes itself majorly to the reminiscences of traditional and historical elements. These find an individualistic approach in my work of art, which is reflective of my felt experiences of museums, forts and heritage sites, especially of my native place of Madhya Pradesh. Being a rich and resplendent repository of cultural heritage of India, the constructed marvels of forts and palaces have encouraged my ingenious experimentation. Further the impressions and memories of these places find their reflections in the subjects chosen for my creative pursuits.

The sketched and painted surfaces are illuminated further with reproduced photographs, layered with coloured surfaces in varied hues. The architectural heritage in its conformity forms the background of the visuals, which are superimposed with multifaceted elements highlighting the felt experiences by me over the years. The impressions of the visuals created on silver bromide paper are also experimented with multi- layered surfaces with photo colours, accentuating the orchestral harmony of the forms. The visuals of this genre reconstitute an overall form with transparency and layered images forming the creative expression.

My visual language as an artist does not merely reflect reproduction of what I see but the visual journey takes elemental arrangement with felt experiences. The thought processes amalgamate a pictorial imagery transformed through architectural and human forms interspersed with nature at certain points. My creative pursuits are an expression of self-thoughts emanating from life experiences, exposure to personal quest analysed through diverse visual practises. Thoughts are always compelling and are quite often rendered with divergent meanings. The application of assorted mediums in my work of art is reflective of an interpretation of collective ideas and images forming an inherent appeal.

The present focus of work is predominantly a depiction of unruffled memories and imagery, overlapped images in miniature recalling body paint of contemporary time reinterpreted in some of my watercolours as well is an individualistic approach through application of appropriate medium. The cultural diversity encourages me towards a multi dimensional approach to represent the felt experiences in my creative endeavours. The cultural milieu of India and its various facets possess a rejuvenating excellence that always establishes an unparalleled inspiration in my creative journey.
