Kishor Shinde (b. 1958) lives and works in New Delhi
He received his Diploma in Painting from the M.S. University, Vadodara in 1981.
He has regularly Participated in various Exhibitions since 1980, the most notable solo shows were in 1990, 1991 and 1999 at the Shridharani Gallery, 1996 at Triveni Gallery and in 1999 at Art Inc. New Delhi. 2004 and 2006 at Sakshi Gallery Mumbai, Harmony art foundation artist residency 2007-08, Mint Gallery, New Delhi, 2008
He has also participated in the 10th International Triennial, India. 2nd Beijing Biennale 2005, 4th Beijing Biennale 2010, 2008 in the Mint Gallery New Delhi, 2011 “Form & Formlessness” in Art Alive Gallery, 2012 “Still Life” in Art Motif, 2012 Bangladesh Art Biennale, Best of Modern and Indian Contemporary Art, Sanchit Art Gallery, Dubai 2014.
He has received the Lalit Kala Akademi Award for Painting in 1998 and the state Lalit Kala award in 1978. His work is in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi. The Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi and in several private collections.
