Born and brought up in Mumbai.
I had an inclination towards art since childhood .pursuing my education in fine arts learning various technique helped me sharpen many skills .passed out in 2003 I started my solo and group exhibitions & participated in various exhibitions in India & abroad .having done more than 75 exhibitions national & international.

Charushila Gawade’s works are brimming with playful affection and strong narratives that will allow the viewer to dive further in her works. The recurring vision of an elephant in her dreams inspired Charushila to delineate this subject on her canvas. The artist says "The elephants are extremely important, respected and revered in Indian culture. I am especially inspired by The Elephant though huge but humble.I try to depict various meaning and myths attached to this subject."
