Creating 'Gond' art, is a skill passed on from generation to generation of artists who practice this tribal art form mainly found in Madhya Pradesh. But Bhajju Shyam differs. He may have learnt the skill from a senior, but once his hand moves over the canvas, his depiction of the same scenes painted over the year become magically colorful! If in a room full of Gond art, they will lure a crowd. His experimentation with a shade of grey, that took him out of his comfort zone, is also one to keenly observe. We take you to a show by the Gallery Ojas at 1 AQ, where all this comes alive.
