1994: Solo show of 100 paintings, titled 'Childhood Friend', based on Vaikom Mohammed Basheer’s novel 'Balyakaala Sakhi', at National Lalit Kala Academi Gallery in New Delhi, and at Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and my home town
Udma in north Kerala. The show displayed works of a major project. The Kerala Government Museum in
Thiruvananthapuram acquired the works to be displayed at the Sri Chitra Art Gallery in Thiruvananthapuram.
1989: Shifted to New Delhi and worked as an illustrator for various magazines and news papers such as The Times of India, The Economic Times, India Today, India Perspective (published in French, Spanish, Portugese, Arabic, Urdu and
English) and Indian Literature, till 1993.
