Hailing from a family of masons, the fascination for building something was always what Anil knew.
Through his works he efforts to retrieve the idea of the erasure of collective labour, as he traces the basic idea of ARCHITECTURE in History and ABSENCES of Labor, as a part of the investigation of our fundamental human behaviour to build.
For him, architecture is more about the process of how something is built and not just the end resultant. It's in understanding the process of building something; he realized the importance of Human Labor.

A brick that builds cities, homes and architectural spaces. Infact, all that is built around you is an act of labour. Your very existence, its meaning and your dreams, lies within the existence of these acts of labour, as they build homes, cities, monuments and everything recognisable around you. Architecture and monuments construct not just a Cultural Identity but also forms of cultures that shape a Nation.
