Painting was and is my greatest fascination, I enjoy the process of painting immensely I remember since early childhood lines, colors, drawing, painting, modeling and sculpture were my first love, in fact I always loved to create works of art which would firstly please me creatively and also which would be a viewers delight for the people who saw my works. I do not recollect ever making a decision to start painting and drawing it just came naturally to me.

I have been painting, studying and teaching art extensively for more than three decades now and have worked in most of the mediums and styles. One of my paintings (Tranquility in Green) was selected by the All Indian Fine Arts and Crafts Society, New Delhi as one of the outstanding works of art for display in their Annual Exhibition of Paintings by Contemporary Indian Artists. The management of Gateway Crafts Brooklyn, New York, U.S. was so impressed to see my works that they offered me the Position of Art Teacher with their Institute in the U.S. I have exhibited my paintings at Lalit Kala Academy Delhi, The Airport Authority Art Gallery and in many group shows and also in Germany, Denmark and Jordan.

I have an art studio wherein I work and exhibit my works and I also teach art students and students of architecture, product designing, fashion designing and B.F.A so that many upcoming artists and people with a creative bent of mind who love to crest art and artistic objects can be assisted, .

The motivating focus in all my paintings and works of art is to make beautiful pieces of art which touch the heart’s and mind’s of the viewers.

There goes a saying that artistic people are like wonders and need constant intellectual stimulation, I guess that applies to me also in my creative and professional careers, over the years I have worked in various prestigious organizations like M/s American Express, M/s HCL Technologies Ltd, M/s Ajay Poly Pvt Ltd, M/s IR Sourcetec Intertrade Pvt. Ltd, M/s D.C. Software Consultants etc, in various capacities like Manager Administration, Manager Export & Import, Manager Business Development etc. However I would here like to mention that during all this time I have maintained a very delicate balance between my creative and professional life. No matter how busy I was, I always kept studying art and painting regularly along with experimenting with various mediums and styles of paintings and forms of art, as such now I am a very skillful decorative gun stock wood carver and many a gun enthusiast and lovers greatly admire my works, I also make sculpture, metal works and design industrial special purpose machines.

One of my greatest creative challenge was how to convey the meaning of paintings to a blind person without having to explain it in verbal words to them and after much experimentation I innovated a style wherein I formulated a high impact and extremely durable molding compound which was applied on canvas board and once it hardened to the consistency of stone, it was then carved with precision specially made knives (much like stone carving) which made the work three dimensional. The special quality of this style is that a blind person can interpret these paintings by touching them just like the Braille writing they use to read, since everything is raised and three dimensional in these paintings. The first painting I made with this style is called “ Stepping into the other dimension” which was much appreciated on Facebook and was awarded in four international Art contests. Since then I have created many paintings in the same style and presently I am working on many more. A mention of this style of mine was also done on the news Portal ( I am in DNA of Faridabad ) Tuesday 23 February 2016 by Pooja Tiwari entitled (Artist from Faridabad spreads colours on canvas for visually challenged).

So goes on my artistic journey and there are countless paintings and works of art which are still in my mind and which will surely see the light of day as beautiful paintings very soon.

Best wishes to all the viewers of my art works.
