My name is Anand Prakash and I am an artist. I was born in 1981 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh where the holy Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers meet with one another. The Saraswati is an abstract river according to Hindu mythology and it is an influence in my paintings because of its rich culture. In 21st century, the exchange of ideas related with global culture and traditions, and the multiplicity of mediums has placed art on a more intimate level. I have rendered my art based on this principle of interconnectivity with the perception to depict various dimensions of ‘What is this and Who am I’ in both conventional and unconventional techniques.
Concepts are abstract and ideas are based on practical and contemporary base in my art. My art is a fusion of geometrical abstraction, lyrical abstraction and predecessors where medium and technique are independent and fantasies can be attained with the freedom of expression in visual arts. These attributes are depicted from concrete to abstract and from abstract to concrete forms in my art. Apart from practical visual knowledge, the connection between the subject and the medium is the epitome of life, which conveys a visual in art from conscious to subconscious and unconscious. Generally spectators scrutinize art based on their own knowledge and perceptions and interpret its technical finesse. But its fundamental truth synchronizes with invisible expressions, which relates to human psychology and ancient Hindu philosophy. It emphasizes the psychological impression of aesthetics, logic and social development. My amazing world of creativity and art generates the flow of energy and incessancy of time, which infuses the elements of self-contentment and concentration for the spectators.
