Amrit is a young artist on the autism spectrum. Her autism provides her with a unique perspective to the world around her. People, objects, spaces, all find a new meaning through her lens. Her perspective of the everyday, routine affairs makes her work not only unique but also interesting. That is perhaps why most of her works have very dominant facial expressions. Her latest works are a testimony to the fact ‘The face is the mirror of the mind, and eyes without speaking confess the secrets of the hearts’.
Her art is not confined within the boundaries of technique. Her lines are her strength and she prefers to paint in flat tones. Art knows no boundaries and no limitations. Art is a celebration of life. So Step into her World and look at it with her eyes. You will see the difference.
